About Me
Greg was licensed in 1985 with Thorpe Brothers Inc. Wayzata, MN. In 1986,he joined Counselor Realty Inc. in Wayzata, becoming a partner the following year. He earned his Broker License in 1991 and was President of Counselor Realty (1992-1996). RE/MAX Advisors West was founded in 1997 in Chaska, MN.
Over the years, Greg earned additional NAR designations including; CRS, GRI, ABR, and CDPE and numerous sales awards including; RE/MAX International's 100 Club, Platinum Club, Chairman's Club, Hall of Fame, Lifetime Achievement and Circle of Legends Awards. Other honors include being on various expert speaker panels at local and national REALTOR conventions.
He has been featured in articles in; Minneapolis STAR TRIBUNE Business pages, Minnesota Corporate Report, Minnesota Finance and Commerce, REALTOR magazine, & Minnesota Business Journal. Local radio stations have interviewed him about the housing market and sales trends, real estate technology and marketing. Greg also judged new home quality for "Reggie" and "Award of Excellence" awards for the Fall Parade of Homes & Spring Preview events for Builder's Association of the Twin Cities.
His office is located in Chaska, SW of Minneapolis. In addition to helping develop sales people through the brokerage and helping regular folks become homeowners or sell their existing property, much of his current day-to-day practice involves work in the default sector with large national corporate clients and hedge funds. He also helps local homeowners work through financial hardship. Extensive energy is given to help preserve neighborhood values & coaching homeowners to regain their financial viability.
Specialties: New Construction, REO & Short Sale experience on debt restructures and workouts as well as large land and new construction liquidations for regional lenders.
