About Me
Nolan Turner is the Managing Director for Carrington. He heads strategic initiatives, growth / revenue objectives, and industry partnerships across Carrington’s 8 vertically integrated companies and 4,000 employees. Nolan has touched a plethora of business and finance operations throughout his career with a special emphasis on Mortgage Lending (Wholesale, Retail and Correspondent), Mortgage Servicing, and Default Management (REO disposition, Property Preservation, Title & Settlement Services). Nolan has hands on experience in Capital Markets, RMBS Securitization, and both the buy / sell side of whole loan trading, Non-Performing / Re-Performing Loans, Mortgage Servicing Rights, and GNMA early buy outs. Prior to joining Carrington in 2010, Nolan held executive leadership roles within the Investment Bank at Wachovia, Wholesale Mortgage Operations at World Savings, and Real Estate Development Operations for East-West Partners.
Nolan graduated with honors from the University of Nevada and holds undergraduate and post graduate degrees in international business and behavioral science (cognitive psychology). Nolan has also completed extensive MBA coursework in International Business at IE Business School in Madrid, Spain and Quantitative Analytics at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Nolan has served on countless committees and boards within academia and the mortgage industry. He is a graduate of the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) Program, MBA Future Leaders Program, and a Housing Wire Rising Star award winner. In his spare time, Nolan enjoys a host of outdoor activities (hiking, mountain climbing, fishing, snowboarding / skiing, golf) and has traveled widely, visiting more than 92 countries. Nolan was born and raised in the Reno / Lake Tahoe area and currently resides in Southlake, TX.
