James Lewin

He has over twenty-five years of experience in mortgage banking issues related to residential mortgage origination and servicing. He has been representing the mortgage default industry for over 30 years and concentrates his practice in: foreclosures (residential and commercial), REO’s, evictions and title litigation. The firm represents many national lenders/servicers as well as hedge funds and individual investors. A 1983 graduate of the University of Bridgeport School of Law (now known as Quinnipiac School of Law), Mr. Margolin was admitted to practice law in NY in 1984. During his 30+ year tenure in the default industry, Mr. Margolin has been at the forefront of the default servicing industry. He has spoken at many lender and servicer conferences, he has hosted and has been a speaker on many webinars and trade events as well and countless industry-related functions.
