This one-hour session will provide both a macro view and a detailed summary of post-moratorium servicing and default management issues. The panel will address CFPB rules, any and all Fannie and Freddie directives, and various state law affecting evictions and foreclosure forbearances.
Cathe Cole-Sherburn, Senior Vice President, Trustee Corp
Cathe Cole-Sherburn serves as Senior Vice President of Default Operations for Trustee Corps. She is responsible for managing all aspects of operations, including audit, compliance and strategic planning and development of all offices.
Cathe brings over 35 years of all aspects of real estate mortgage default experience to the company.
Before joining Trustee Corps, Cathe was with the First American Trustee Servicing Solutions, where she was Senior Vice President. While there, her duties included the oversight and management of the Trustee Division.
John Dunnery, Bayview Loan Servicing
John Dunnery is a Vice President at Community Loan Servicing, LLC, managing its non-performing GSE/Agency residential loan portfolio. Community, headquartered in Coral Gables, Florida with operational sites in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Horsham, Pennsylvania, Bedford, Texas and Tucson, Arizona, services and subservices 160,000 loans in 50 states and Puerto Rico, totaling over $44bl in loan balances. John is responsible for management and oversight of the government loan portfolio to regulatory and servicing guide requirements, including electronic data reporting, investor reporting and loan accounting, servicing advances and claims.
John has been in mortgage banking and financial services for over 20 years. Prior to joining Community, he held senior loan servicing roles with Pacific Union Financial, LLC, Chase and Wachovia, as well as Senior Director-NSO with Fannie Mae. John received his JD from the University of Tulsa, MPA from the University of Oklahoma and his BA from Boston University.
Rick Sharga, Executive Vice President, RealtyTrac
Rick is the Executive Vice President of RealtyTrac, a leading foreclosure search and discovery website used by real estate agents and investors. In this role, Rick is responsible for Marketing and Industry Relations, and is the company’s primary spokesperson. Prior to RealtyTrac, Rick was the founder and CEO of CJ Patrick Company, a consulting firm that helped real estate, financial services, and technology companies develop a position of competitive advantage and use it to drive business strategy, marketing, and sales.

Mark Paniccia, VP of Business & Commercial Lending, TREO
Mark Paniccia is Vice President of Business and Commercial Lending for TREO International – Eastern Division. He is also the Managing Member of Sigma Development, a real estate fix and flip firm operating actively in 6 states, located in Midlothian, Virginia. Prior to that he was the Senior Vice President of Real Estate Owned at SunTrust Mortgage. Mark began his career in portfolio management as a Real Estate Specialist for Merrill Lynch and later as Director of Real Estate Services for Prudential’s Diversified Services Group. Mark spent most of the 2000’s with GMAC ResCap on the commercial side, managing a $2+ billion portfolio of structured leases and lot options for large homebuilders. He is a graduate of the University of Connecticut with a BA in Political Science, a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association, and is currently President of the National Association of Default Professionals (NADP), an industry nonprofit. He has been an active Sigma Chi volunteer for 35 years, and in his spare time is heavily involved in animal rescue, adoptions, and transports.
